The new ROTOCLEAR® S generation meets all the strict safety requirements of the German professional institute for workplace safety (Berufsgenossenschaftliches Institut für Arbeitssicherheit – BIA.
ROTOCLEAR® S are rotating safety windows which can be used in the working area casings of machining centres and lathes.
They have the following BIA approval:

DIN EN 12417 "Machine Tools-safety-Machining centres"
Suitability: As inspection glasses in protective surrounds for machining centres with a maximum speed of
– Vc max. 150 m/s for a protective polycarbonate safety pane thickness of 12 mm.
– Vc max. 220 m/s for a protective polycarbonate safety pane thickness of 2x12 mm.

Suitability: As inspection glasses in protective surrounds for lathes with a maximum working speed of 50 m/s
Resistance class A1, A2
